Come visit us in beautiful Albany, Kentucky for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. You will be glad you did! We have RV slips, tent campsites and a cabin to rent. Our park is conveniently located on Dale Hollow Lake. We also have a couple of kayaks for rent and horse shoe pits coming soon!
About Our Park
We are a beautiful place off the beaten path where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful outdoors at its best in the beautiful Dale Hollow area, away from the crowded parks.
RV park Dale Hollow lake views and campgrounds with trails and all the beauty of nature everywhere you look. Don’t have an RV or camping equipment? No problem. We also have a cabin available for rent too. We have spacious gravel slips, electric hook-ups, water, sewer, and a dump station for our RV customers. Nice private Dale Hollow Lake campsites for our tent campers. Our cabin sleeps a party of 2 adults and 2 children. We also have bathrooms with showers, a laundry area, and a concession stand. We provide picnic areas and fire rings also. You need to come and check us out!

Great Cabin Camping Experience In Dale Hollow Area!
Great experience! Traveling through the Dale Hollow area and found this little gem. Stayed in the cozy cabin. Reasonably priced, clean, comfortable with a great view of the lake. Owners were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Check it out if you are in the area.

Why McDermit RV Park & Campsites?
With a love for RV camping and the outdoors, I had experienced many RV parks that were nice but not always the best to use because they were crowded, and the slips were small and not the best to navigate. I thought with my background in construction, concrete for 40 years, and being a business owner, I can do this better, and make a place that is not only nice but functional for campers to be able to get the most enjoyment out of their stay. After all, I had done a lot of RV camping myself as well as owning a resort with cabins, a marina and beach, and restaurants in the Chain Of Lakes area on the Illinois and Wisconsin border called McDermit’s Resort. I wanted to create a place with good spacious slips with some privacy for people to really be able to enjoy their RV or camping experience. After retiring, I found this beautiful property and set out to create just that place, what is now our 17.5 acre McDermit RV Park.
It is my hope that people will come here and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, with trails to walk or ride your mountain bike, and spend some time at the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. It is a jewel in the south, and one of the cleanest lakes you will find, with 620 miles of shoreline. You can bring your boat as we are 2.5 miles from a major Dale Hollow marina. You can scuba dive the flooded city of Willow Grove. There are also several state parks nearby that would make a great day trip, Daniel Boone National Forest, Mammoth Cave National State Park, Green River State Park, and Old Kentucky Home State Park.
